“Sixteen and Rising” lands on Carly Rae Jepsen’s newly minted album Day and Night (Continued), arriving on October 9, 2026, as a glossy pop anthem that feels both nostalgic and forward‑looking. The track, clocking in at four minutes and twenty‑four seconds, showcases Jepsen’s signature glitter‑laden synths and razor‑sharp hooks while subtly expanding her sonic palette beyond the bubblegum sheen of earlier hits. Nestled among the album’s sun‑kissed production, the song captures the bittersweet optimism of youthful ambition, a theme that has long anchored Jepsen’s lyrical storytelling. Fans eager for a fresh yet familiar pop fix should hit play on Spotify and let the chorus lift them into the night.
