“Versailles” drops today as the lead single from Carly Rae Jepsen’s freshly minted album Day and Night (Continued), delivering a shimmering pop anthem that feels both nostalgic and forward‑looking.
Building on the synth‑laden intimacy of her recent projects, Jepsen layers glossy production with her signature falsetto, crafting a three‑minute‑four‑second track that glitters with melodic hooks while exploring lyrical themes of fleeting romance and regal longing.
Fans of Jepsen’s evolving pop palette will find “Versailles” a perfect bridge between her early chart‑toppers and her more experimental recent work, making it a must‑listen on repeat.
Press play on Spotify and let the chorus reign.
