Comox Valley RCMP issued the request for public assistance on Thursday, October 16, after Bosma’s family reported they had not heard from her since October 13 — something her family told police is out of character.
Investigators confirmed Bosma was last seen camping near Comox Lake in Cumberland on October 14. “It’s possible she may have entered the surrounding trails, been picked up, or walked to another unknown location,” Const. Monika Terragni said in a news release.
